Because the trek is only a few months away you may be interested in looking ahead to 2011, when the dates are set to trek in Costa Rica from 17 – 27 November. The beauty of Costa Rica is staggering, from dense tropical rainforest to rich flora and fauna to forest-clad mountains to sparkling blue seas - this trek has it all!
Home to five per cent of the planet's biodiversity, with everything from palm tree lined tropical beaches to smoking volcanoes, cloud forest and mangrove, this charity trek in Costa Rica will take you through coffee plantations and oak forests deep into the dense tropical rainforest. Serenaded by howler monkeys and exotic bird calls you'll experience everything Costa Rica has to offer before finishing on a beautiful tropical beach.
