Whistler, Canada: 14-22 April 2010
The MS Trust would like to say a huge thank you to the group of 16 skiers who took part in our third Monster Ski challenge in Whistler.
The skiers pushed themselves to their limits to complete this unique 150,000 vertical feet ski challenge, skiing from first lift to last for five days to reach their goals. Despite differing levels of ski expertise, the skiers really pulled together to support each other in completing the distance, which is equivalent to skiing the height of Mount Everest every day.
Our 2010 Monster Ski team have raised over £32,000 to fund the work of the MS Trust and money is still coming in. Thank you again to them all for their determination and commitment in completing the ski challenge and for raising valuable funds, which will be of huge benefit for people living with MS.
