Hop Farm charity bash
Carol Cox and friends organised a fundraising party for 200 people, which raised over £3,500 for the MS Trust and Macmillan Cancer Support.
The event took place at the Hop Farm, Paddock Wood Kent on 10 April 2010 and featured well known local Kent group Contraband, who offered their services free of charge for the evening. The organisers also managed to source some fantastic raffle prizes including signed books from Ricky Tomlinson and Chris Evans; a Red Dwarf DVD signed by Chris Barrie; merchandise from some of the British Superbike riders; a signed photo of Ryan Giggs worth £500; a 32inch Samsung LCD TV; a signed CD from Beverley Knight and 4 box seats at a Chelsea V Man Utd game!
We would like to thank everyone who organised, supported or attended the event for the generous donation of £1,786 which we have received to help fund our work.
