RSS

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) allows you to collect news stories, blog updates and more from a number of sources, without having to remember to visit each site every day. To use RSS you will need a piece of software called a news reader or aggregator. There are many different types available and our website has links to some examples.

Once you have chosen a news reader, all you have to do is to decide what content you want to receive, by finding and subscribing to the relevant RSS feeds. Within the MS Trust website you can sign up for feeds for Stop Press items, Recent News Stories (MS in the media) and news from the Information, Education and Fundraising pages.

Open Door

Not everyone has access to email, and Open Door will continue to provide information on all the publications and support that the MS Trust provides, articles on a wide range of topics written by health professionals and people with MS as well as news about MS and recent research. Open Door is free and available quarterly both by post and by email.

Social bookmarking

Social bookmarking is an idea that allows people to save links to web pages in a way that allows other web users to see what has been saved. Popular sites include Digg, reddit, Delicious and StumbleUpon. Users of the service can see how many people have linked to a page, what other pages people have linked to, and can often rate the value of the link.

To explore some of the more popular sites or to add pages from the MS Trust website, click on the Share link on the right hand side of each page on the MS Trust website.
