Me and my MS Nurse, 03 May 2012

Unfortunately, Nominate your MS Nurse has now closed. Thank you to all who took part.

If you have MS, you will know what a difference it can make to have access to an MS specialist nurse.

However, changes happening now within the NHS mean that quality healthcare for people with MS could be seriously compromised. Specialist MS services are already stretched in many areas of the UK, but with funding being lost or reassigned, some vacant posts are not being replaced and other posts are under review. The MS Trust is working closely with MS specialist nurses whose jobs are under threat right now or whose time is being diverted from helping people with MS. We are helping them gather evidence to support their case and we are lobbying in their local communities to demonstrate what an essential and cost-effective service they provide.

Have you got a MS Nurse who has gone the extra mile? Someone who has gone above and beyond the call of duty to help you out? Why not nominate them for the "My Super Nurse award"? Here is your chance to tell the world how important your MS nurse really is! Fill this form in and nominate your nurse now! You can also send them an e-card to let them know how much you appreciate their help.

So if your nurse is indeed a Super MS Nurse, nominate them before midday on Wednesday 02 May and we will send your MS nurse a thank you card; the nurse who receives the most nominations will be announced on Tuesday 08 May and will receive a special prize.
