Andrew Previté Bursary Fund

Over recent years many nurses and allied health professionals have benefited from financial support for their education activities with a grant from the Andrew Previté Bursary Fund.

The purpose of the fund is to enable health professionals to best meet the needs of people with MS by expanding their MS knowledge and skills. Specifically it will enable nurses and allied health professionals who are working in a clinical role with people with MS to attend courses, conferences, study days or masterclasses to develop their clinical expertise and expand their skills base with particular emphasis on the areas of research and evaluation.

In addition to specialist nurses there has been an increase in the interest and awareness of MS amongst therapists working in hospitals and the community and also amongst general nurses working as practice and community nurses, and the fund is able to help some of these people as well.

To date successful applications have included individuals wanting to undertake degree courses, MSc studies, distance learning programmes, masterclasses and conference attendance.

If you work with people with MS and are having difficulty obtaining funding to support your educational development, why not apply?

Please note if completing an application ALL sections of the forms must be completed. Incomplete forms will NOT be assessed.

If you have a query please email the MS Trust.

Please note: Applications are sent to the steering committee for review on the 1st of each month. Applications received after the 1st will not be sent for review until the following month.
